Our Story

Hi, besties! We’re Vanessa and Sandy — college friends turned travel partners in adventure. We met at St. Bonaventure University (Go Bonnies!) and have been exploring the world together since our study abroad trip to Australia in 2009, where we visited incredible spots along the East Coast and the South Island of New Zealand. Since then, we’ve traveled together to dozens of destinations across the globe — and while we haven’t hit every continent yet, we’re working on it (Africa, we’re coming for you!).

Our travel styles are the perfect match: Sandy is the destination scout, always dreaming up where to go next, while Vanessa is the planner-in-chief, building out detailed itineraries and uncovering the best spots to eat, stay, and explore. After years of friends and family asking us for travel advice, we launched this blog and our Instagram to share hidden gems, honest reviews, and full itineraries — plus tips for booking luxury stays using points.

For us, travel is more than just checking places off a list. We believe in traveling with purpose — learning about the culture, supporting local communities, and making meaningful connections along the way. Our work has been featured in USA Today and The Wall Street Journal, and we love partnering with brands, tourism boards, and small businesses to spotlight unforgettable travel experiences.
