My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in Montreal. Living just four hours away in upstate New York, we wanted a destination that felt both romantic and international without requiring a long flight. Montreal was the perfect choice — close enough for a weekend getaway but filled with European charm, history, and incredible food.
As a loyal Hilton traveler and proud Hilton Diamond member, I was excited to see which Hilton property in Montreal would be the best fit for this special trip. After comparing several options, I chose the Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton. I had a fantastic experience at another Curio Collection in Krakow a few years ago, so this felt like the right match for our anniversary.

Booking with Hilton Honors Points + Free Night
If you’re looking for the best Hilton in Montreal for luxury and value, the Vogue Hotel is a great candidate. Rooms here can be expensive, but I was able to cover the stay using a Hilton free night certificate from my Hilton Aspire American Express card, along with Hilton Honors points.
Being the Diamond member, I also received daily breakfast vouchers for two, which nearly paid for our meals each morning. Between the free night, points, and Diamond perks, the only costs we had were valet parking and a couple of cocktails at the bar. For anyone who travels often, this shows how valuable Hilton Honors can be — a luxury stay for little to no out-of-pocket cost.
If you’re not a Hilton Honors member booking through the Hilton site, you can book your Vogue Hotel stay here.

First Impressions at the Vogue Hotel Montreal
We arrived late at night after the drive from Syracuse and were warmly welcomed at the valet and front desk. The staff was efficient and friendly, making check-in quick and stress-free.
Our King Deluxe room was both spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful details like robes, slippers, and a stocked minibar. The sitting area with a couch at the foot of the bed was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day.

The bathroom, however, stole the show. It featured a large soaking tub, roomy shower, double sinks, and plenty of counter space — rare for a downtown Montreal hotel. It immediately set the tone for a comfortable and indulgent stay.

Dining at YAMA Restaurant
One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast at YAMA, the Vogue Hotel’s restaurant. Guests can either pick up something quick from the grab-and-go section or enjoy a sit-down meal. We went with the full breakfast option, and it was worth it every time. The food was fresh, the atmosphere stylish, and the service attentive without being rushed.
I especially recommend trying their spicy Bloody Marys — they were delicious and a fun way to kick off the day. YAMA also has a bar that opens early and closes late, making it a convenient option whether you want a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap without leaving the hotel.

Vogue Hotel Amenities
The Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown balances modern comfort with timeless design, and its amenities stand out. Some of the highlights for me included:
- Fitness Center: Located on an upper floor, the gym is well-equipped with everything from cardio to strength machines. Even though I didn’t work out during this trip, it’s an excellent setup for anyone who wants to keep up with their routine.
- Pet-Friendly Hotel in Montreal: The Vogue welcomes dogs for an additional fee, which is always a plus for those who like to travel with pets.
- Clear-Certified Air and Water: The property uses Clear’s UV-based purification technology to improve air and water quality — a thoughtful touch for health-conscious travelers.
Location in Downtown Montreal
One of the biggest advantages of staying at the Vogue Hotel is its downtown Montreal location. The hotel is right near Rue Sainte-Catherine, one of the city’s busiest shopping and dining streets. It’s also within easy reach of top attractions like Old Montreal with its cobblestone streets and historic charm, the Old Port for evening walks, Notre-Dame Basilica, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

We loved being able to leave breakfast at YAMA and step right into the heart of the city. On one morning, we explored Old Montreal, and another night we enjoyed dinner nearby before heading back for a cocktail at the hotel bar. The location made it easy to enjoy the city without worrying about long commutes or parking headaches.
Tips for Staying at the Vogue Hotel Montreal
If you’re planning a trip, here are some tips to make the most of your stay at Vogue Hotel Montreal:
- Use Hilton Honors points or free night certificates to save money on this luxury property.
- Take advantage of Hilton Diamond perks. The daily breakfast benefit for two easily adds value.
- Don’t skip YAMA. If you have time, the sit-down breakfast experience is far better than the grab-and-go option.
- Plan to spend time at the hotel itself. Between the spacious rooms, relaxing lobby, and lively bar, it’s worth staying in at least one evening.
- Visit during spring or fall. Montreal is beautiful in every season, but the shoulder months have milder crowds and weather.
Why I’d Recommend the Vogue Hotel Montreal
Our 10th anniversary trip to Montreal was unforgettable, thanks in large part to the Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton. The welcoming staff, spacious rooms, and excellent dining made it feel like the right choice for a celebration.
For those wondering which Hilton hotel in Montreal to choose, I’d strongly recommend the Vogue. Between the location, the Hilton Diamond benefits, and the Curio Collection’s attention to detail, it’s ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway, business travelers who want comfort and convenience, or anyone who wants to explore Montreal in style.
For us, it was the perfect mix of luxury and value — made even sweeter by using Hilton points and perks. Montreal is always a great idea, but staying at the Vogue turned our trip into a milestone we’ll always remember.
